Meetup: Oysters Three Ways Supper at Preserve24

Off-square maple doors, a bar made from grand pianos, and platters of crisp, cold oysters—have we stepped into a 19th century explorers club?

We’re excited to announce a Meetup at Preserve24 (177 E. Houston and 1st Ave), who is offering us a special Oysters Three Ways dinner (raw, roasted, fried) on Tues, August 27 at 6:30 pm. But Preserve24 isn’t simply a restaurant, it’s also an upcycled art installation and social space. The interior is full of whimsical, steampunk design elements like ceiling fans built from oars and an 1860s oyster boat that’s now used as a raw bar. This is paired with hearty, rustic fare made with seasonal, locally sourced ingredients. Here’s our menu:

Raw oyster sampler platter
Fire roasted oysters with garlic butter
Crispy fried oyster sandwiches, soft brioche, remoulade, bacon
Whole roasted porgy, muddled tomato, oregano, garlic
Seasonal vegetable
Dessert of the day

This dinner will be $57 plus tax and tip. If you order any drinks or other menu items a la carte, please settle those with the server on your own. Our group is capped at 16, so if you’re interested in joining the fun, sign up today before we’re out of space! Note: refunds will not be issued for this event, so please be confident that you can make it.
