East Beach Blondes are grown in Ninigret Pond, isolated by a barrier beach from Naragansett Bay. In this peaceful lagoon, three oyster farmers happily co-exist and work together to produce bivalve gems. The camaraderie between Jim Arnoux, Nick Papa and Rob Krause means more opportunities to benefit from each other’s expertise. That means East Beach Blondes arrive in top notch condition, with power-washed, smooth shells and an abundance of liquor. Their understated saltiness (for an East Coast oyster, that is) complements smooth and silky meats, ending with a subtle finish of sweetness.
